This brand new venture is from the team who've previously been behind many of the city's best eating spots. Led by Ian D'Annunzio-Green, Susan Booth and Julie Friel, the three have worked together for 15+ years, with experience of running cafes, restaurants and events at leading visitor attractions including the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and Hopetoun House to name just a few.
Together with their team of Honeycomb Busy Bees, they totally 'get' that delicious food is just one part of a memorable eating experience, and so a friendly, informed and efficient service is central to what they do.
QUEEN OF NECTAR
Coming from a family of bakers, chefs and restauranteurs, Julie has been around commercial kitchens forever. Julie's food is well-known and loved by many loyal fans of her catering business 'Patti & Jules'. Her food is as colourful and vibrant, as it is flavoursome. She is nectar creator of all things delicious.
With her 25 years' experience in hospitality, events and food combined with her family background in farming and retail, including Stockbridge's The Store, the much-loved "farm shop in the city", Susan is a real champion for seasonal, local produce and will be leading the Honeycomb & Co team.
MASTER OF THE HIVE
Former Owner and Director of Heritage Portfolio Ltd, and with over 30 years' experience in the creation and delivery of special events and destination cafes, Ian D'Annunzio-Green is the supporting and guiding Director of the Honeycomb & Co team.
